In August of 2016, brothers Shawn and Eric Seitz, formed Pioneer Survival Company. For years, the Seitz brothers had a passion for learning and sharing their knowledge of the outdoors. By harnessing skills learned through the Boy Scouts of America, and attaining certifications at various outdoor survival schools, they use this knowledge to aid and teach others about the wonders of the outdoors. Their certifications and skill sets include:
Experience in Urban and Wilderness Safety curriculums (basic 72 hour emergency survival to long term crisis situations).
Demonstrating the fundamentals of hunting, fishing, wood-crafting, camping, and homesteading.
Former USCCA Certified Instructors (CCW).
Acquired National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) certifications as Wilderness First Responders (WFR)
American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) Blood-borne Pathogens and Basic Life Support, CPR, and Wilderness First Responder Certifications.
The goal of Pioneer Survival Company is to teach the fundamentals of outdoor safety, personal security, and introduce our students to a series of skills and habits that will enrich their travel experiences and everyday lives.
