Low Gear... Better Mileage

Everyone experiences the outdoors in their own ways. Often times, in the bushcraft community, we pack in heavier equipment over shorter distances to set up long-term camping areas. Although this method works great to provide the necessary gear for fashioning tools off the land, a heavy pack load would be counter-productive for a long distance backpacking trip.
